Thursday Update - 12/12/24

Hello everyone, how are you all doing?
Well it is almost the middle of December already! Can you believe that? 2 weeks and Christmas will be over.
School break is almost here too - the kids here only have 4 more days of school until they are out until January.
Remember how I mentioned Eli was missing so many assignments and was falling behind? Well he completed all but 3 of those assignments! He brought up his science grade from an F to an A! He brought up everything else too. Math was a D and he's brought that up to a B. In the subject he is missing the 3 assignments he has a 100% still because he does so well on his spelling and vocab tests. The teacher gives extra spelling words for extra points - so he got enough extra to cover those 3 assignments.
Next week the kids get to go to the arcade one day. He's looking forward to that I know. One day they also get a Christmas party, so sounds like mostly fun stuff next week.
Do you remember doing a lot of fun stuff like that in school? I don't!
Anyways- that's what is going on here for the most part...

I do not remember having the fun that Eli and his classmates had during the Christmas holidays when I was younger.

That's great that he is doing better with his grades. I don't remember having a Christmas party when I was in school.

Glad these days will be happy for Eli and he will be off for the holidays. How are things in the what we want from Santa department?

Hopefully he'll be happy... and I am sure he wants things that are too expensive from "santa' so he probably won't be too happy

I'm glad he's doing so well in school.
I remember doing fun stuff during the days leading up to Christmas vacation.

He was actually failing, had an F in science because he had turned no assignments in, but this teacher let him do the work at home and turn it in, brought his F up to an A.
But that's good you remember doing those kinds of things

That's a cute picture. Congratulations to Eli for getting the work done. No, the only thing I remember in elementary school was going to skating parties once and a while. Have a good weekend.
