Faux Fur Care

Our dog Cookie managed to stuff herself with her treats while we were away and has now had 2 episodes of vomiting. It was on a safe place on top of a table we thought she could not reach but she has managed to somehow ninja her way and finished two packets. The casualties of her vomit included my friend’s faux fur rug. We have put it on delicate wash and I am now combing it vigorously to ensure it does not become stiff and frisky. Any tips on saving fur?

Poor thing just got too excited. I’m afraid I don’t have any tips on that.

Yep now she’s feeling really smashed. I hope she gets better otherwise tomorrow will be a trip to the vet.

Poor Cookie, I hope she is fine now. A delicate wash was the right thing to do, now brush it gently with a wide tooth comb and it will be perfect.

She at least stopped vomiting today. I was starting to worry. Now it seems she is scared to eat. The faux fur looks good as new. I am so relieved.

@flapiz - The faux furs usually look great after a gentle wash. Poor Cookie, I am glad she is recovering.
