Do You Think It's Time To End Daylight Savings Time?

I read a news article this morning that says President-elect Donald Trump is going to end Daylight Savings Time.
So Why does he want to do this? Well, it's an antiquated practice that we no longer need due to enhanced technology and 24/7 operational schedules.
Some scientists are saying that the clock changes twice a year can lead to a higher risk of heart attacks, stroke and car accidents.
It would take, literally, an act of Congress to abolish Daylight Savings Time.
I'm all for it. It's too confusing to set clocks forward and back and disrupt sleep cycles.
Other countries have done away with Daylight Savings Time. I think the USA should too.

We had this rule long time ago. It carried out severa years and finally it was cancelled. As it seemed to be meaningless as everything just delayed on hour. Such as I went to school at 7am and after this rule, I went to school at 8am. It was the same. This is why people got so confused at that time.

I have LONG been an advocate of getting rid of it. It seems like such a simple thing to do and such a sensible thing to consider. But you are right. It will take an act of Congress. I say just put it up for a vote and decide and move on. I imagine it might still be a contentious pass. But maybe we could just do it?
