And what do we get in the US? A crazy person shooting students at the Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, Does it make any sense? None whatsoever there have been multiple injuries among them students and a staff member who might have fatal injuries. The shooter got off easy he shot himself. I wish he had done that to begin with and leave everyone else alone. With the latest news, two are dead.

I read that the shooter was female. I worry about my niece who just started teaching in a public school. She teaches kindergarten and already is talking about the challenges she faces. I wouldn't teach school if it was the last job on Earth!

@LeaPea2417 I wish all the best for your niece, I agree with you and if I had children they would be homeschooled,

It is a shame that some people allow their hatred of others to commit murder of innocent persons these days.

This seems a rule than an exception in the US when it comes to such incidents.

I did not even have to write this one. When more than one does, then its officially a problem. Thanks for informing us. I am so disgusted how this country forgets its own children after banning abortions and telling me I am degenerate for not having children. I do not have children or get married because you seem to allow maniacs to shoot up schools. Why would I want my wife and child to experience that if they make it out alive. Why would I want to experience that?

It goes on and on. So many lives shattered and a bleak Christmas just because this person was unhappy about something. Why?

That is just awful news. Awful at any time but especially tragic just before Christmas.

Another instance of a disturbed teen (15 yrs old) being influenced by social media to carry out a heinous act on innocent students and teachers. It is becoming all too common. She was in therapy over her turbulent home life with her parents, who had repeatedly divorced and remarried, according to court documents. Sadly, like prisons, schools need similar security measures to protect the students and teachers inside.

School shoot outs are so common there. I don't know why adequate measures aren't taken.
