I Think I'm going To Quit Wearing Make-Up / myLot

Not that I wear it very often anyway. Maybe one night on a 7-night cruise on formal night. Or maybe once every 6 weeks at home. I'm happy with how I look naturally. I'm not really that skilled at applying make-up. And the older I get, the more "fake" it looks. Plus the cost of cosmetics is ridiculous and they expire something like 6-9 months after you open them and I never have been able to use a full tube or bottle. So yeah, I think I'm going to give up on make-up. Do you wear make-up? How often?

can't relate to this one, i like to add some color to my lips and fill in my eyebrows, that's what i do whenever i'm going out - to the store or something like that. and when i'm going out, like some event, i'm using foundation, mascara, eyeshadows and all that

I had almost zero eyebrows in 2014 so I got permanent make-up (tattooing) on them so they always look good, nothing to do there. I do like lipstick.

@LooeyVille i don't know if i'd ever do that, but i'm glad that you like it. i like my eyebrows and their shape, but i need to brush them a bit

i just feel more feminine when i'm wearing lipstick. sometimes i wear it even inside the house.

I wear makeup a couple times a week, but when I do wear makeup it’s not much to begin with. Even as a teen I felt silly wearing much. So if I wear any, it’s foundation, eye liner, and lip gloss. That’s all I own, and it saves a bunch of money.

Lipstick is the only make up I have but these days I hardly go out and lipstick is not used.

I do wear eyeliner - but not every day. I know what you mean about "fake" . . . I have stopped using foundation years ago because I don't want to look like I'm wearing a mask. Natural is convenient and healthier.
