The Sun Came Out

It has been windy and a bit gloomy at times today. The sun has finally come out. I hope that it shines for a while, but we could possibly get some rain. Tonight dinner will be easy. We are having leftovers of red beans and rice, kielbasa and cornbread. I have done a few chores around the house and worked on my front door a bit more. I hope that you are all having a good day.

Yes, today was pretty good. It is dreary here I think it will rain. I should make sure the Christmas lights are on outside before it rains. It looks like it is going to start pretty soon though.

Until January we typically have temperatures around the freezing mark and with that comes clouds, no sunshine. I use my happy lamp, but come January, when it gets really cold, we will have clear days again.

It can be a slow job removing paint. Are you using a stripper on it or just scraping it off as best you can?

Hope that sun sticks ! It was very windy yesterday, less of it today . . . wish we could have rain. Love those easy dinners . . . but tonight I think I'll have to cook. I did some chores too, but oh there is still so much to do. Hope the rest of your Wednesday is good!

It's a bright, sunny day here which is a nice contrast to the rain we had for several days with flood warnings. It is windy and chilly here, though. I've cleaned the kitchen counter and washed dishes. I laid out ground beef to thaw but don't know what I'm making with it yet.
