Walruses have their own mood. In Thailand Safari world we saw them. Zoo authorities feed them with fishes. Sometimes when the walruses are in no mood to eat them they partially eat them and chew and spit the unwanted part on the bodies of the bystanders. Mostly the fishes are raw. Children find it very interesting.

Never been to Thialand or a Safari. Therefore I can only try to imagine what you are describing. Maybe I can find s video online.

thanks Yumeko the reason is generally common food is given to the walruses every day. Fishes form the major meal. On other days what is delicious for them, on some days they dislike the fishes
