I spoke to Wynne Evans on the radio again this morning!

I got up at just after 7:00am this morning. I've just realised I didn't tell you about yesterday's shopping trip to the big Tesco, so I'll talk about that in my next post. Anyway I got up at Just after 7:00am because I wanted to make sure I had enough time to have my breakfast and a cup of tea before starting to listen to the Wynne Evans show on BBC Radio Wales and see what question he was asking today. I had pizza for breakfast today (yes, I remembered to get it, and I'll talk about that in my next post.) So I had my pizza for breakfast, then I had a cup of green tea and some blueberries in a pot. I started listening to BBC Radio Wales before the Wynne Evans show came on. He came on to the previous show to say Hi and tell them what he was going to be asking today, and it was what is your favourite Christmas carol or song? I thought, Yes, I can answer that. Mary did you know is my favourite Christmas song. So I began my text before the Wynne Evans show even started. This is what my text said:- Good morning Wynne. I just wanted to say thank you for being so kind. You've been through so much and yet you still have time for other people. So thank you. My favourite Christmas song is Mary did you know. From Sharon in Lichfield, Staffordshire. But half way through my text, my phone informed me that my battery was running low! I only had 25% left! As soon as the Wynne Evans show started I sent the text. I kept my phone on and hoped the battery would last. Almost immediately the phone rang so I answered it. The chap there said thank you for your text, and would you like to speak to Wynne. So I said, Yes, but the battery on my phone is running low! He said, Can you put it on charge now? And I said, Yes, I could. I've got about 25% left. So he said he'd let them known and then he'd phone back. So after the phone call was ended I put my phone on to charge. I was just wondering if I could get calls when the phone was on charge when the phone rang again! So I answered it and they said I could talk to Wynne after this next song. They said to make it quick if my phone battery was running low. Anyway, I had a nice chat to Wynne, and I managed to say everything I wanted to say, and my battery didn't give out on me, so that was good! When Wynne came on and said, We've got Sharon on the line. Hi Shaz, I said Nadolig Llawen Wynne! (Merry Christmas Wynne in Welsh!) He said, Wow! Sharon! That was very impressive! For someone living in Lichfield, that was very impressive. I said, I've been practising! Then I said You know what Wynne? He said, What? I said, I've got both your CDs. I think they're wonderful! He said, I didn't think they were still available! I said, Oh, yeah! You can still get them on Amazon! He said, What's your favourite song then? And I said, Oh, I like a lot of them, I can't pick just one. I play them on a Sunday and Thursday afternoons. On a loop! Then I said, My Mum likes them too, and she's got some favourites, but after a while she'll get fed up of it and say, Sharon! Can't you put something else on?! And Wynne said, Yeah, switch that awful man off! And I said, No, she doesn't say that, she does like you, but she'll get fed up of it after a while. Then Wynne asked me what I was doing for Christmas, so I said I'm having salmon for Christmas dinner with sweet potatoes, carrots, peas and parsnips. And Wynne said I had Katherine Jenkins over for Christmas one year, and I said Name dropper! And he said, Yeah, I know! Cos she's a vegetarian, well prescatarian, so I cooked her some salmon with a sauce and pomegranate seeds. And I said, that sounds lovely, and he asked me if that was something I'd like, and I said yes. Then he said he'd put the recipe up on Instagram, but I said I'm not on Instagram. He talked about the trolls that are on social media and how unkind they can be. Then I said, Another thing I've got right, is a book about you but it's all in Welsh and I can't understand a word of it! Well, I can 'cos it's got some translations at the bottom and in the back. But I'm translating it via Google's Copilot AI bot! He said, That'll take you years that will! I said, No, it won't take that long! It's only a small book! I'm translating it sentence by sentence! Then he asked me what my favourite Christmas song is, and I said Mary did you know. And he said, How does that go! So I had to sing a bit of it! (It didn't end well!) He sang it back to me! Then he said he'd done choirster of the year one year and one of the lads on there sang it. And we said Happy Christmas, and finished the call. It wss a lovely chat. I'm glad my phone battery didn't give up on me! Now my phone is on charge.

Wynne Evans is a wonderful operatic tenor who also does the Go Compare adverts and has this radio programme on BBC Radio Wales on a weekday morning from 9:00-12:00. He's going to be off now though after tomorrow for Christmas so I'm glad I got to talk to him on the radio again this morning. He's also recently done Strictly Come Dancing where he lasted till week 9.

You and Wynne are getting to be best buds. Mary Did You Know is my favorite Christmas song as well. Have you ever heard Pentatonix sing it? Have a good weekend.

Thank you very much. Yes, it was. It was my favourite conversation I've had with Wynne so far. Oh, yes, he is. He's lovely. He's been through so much with his divorce and depression, but he still has time for other people.
