Yesterday's trip to the big Tesco.

We went to the big Tesco yesterday, the 18th of December. I got rid of the soft recycle first and then found a trolley. But the wheels on the trolley were wonkey so I took it to the trolley bay and chose a different one which was better. Then we went up on the lift. My Mum was feeling tired and she was walking slow, so when we came out of the lift someone asked her if she was OK and asked if she could help her. We went and sat on a bench and Mum gave me her shopping list, club card and lots of money and I went and did the shopping on my own again. I got some flowers first, and then I went to look at the magazines but there was nothing there to interest me. And one of the shelves where some magazines were has been replaced by a costa coffee machine which was making all sorts of strange noises! I went over and got 2 bottles of water, 3 packets of seaweed thins, a packet of sugar free polo mints for my Mum and some sushi for me for the weekend. Then I got 2 lots of soothers for Syd and some MenoHerb for me. After that I went to the fruit and veg section and got the usual stuff, plus a white onion for Syd. Then I got milk, yoghurts and puddings for Sunday even though my Mum hadn't put them on the shopping list. I found out when I got home that she didn't put them on the shopping list because she'd already got some at home that they hadn't used yet! Then I got some Lurpak but I couldn't get the lighter one in the size Mum likes so I had to get spreadable instead. I also got myself some humous with pine nuts on top. I went to the vegan and ready meals isle, and I remembered to get my vegan pizza to have for my breakfast! I got some meat free bites and some meals for Mum. I got 2 packets of the Tilda egg fried rice for my Mum, and I got some soy sauce for me. Then I went to the canned isle and got some cockles and tins of salmon and pilchards for Syd. Then I went and got some egg custard tarts for my Mum and Syd, and I got some maple syrup for me. Next I went to get some pringles. I got some gingernut biscuits for Syd, and some Matcha green tea T-bags for me. Then I got some mixed nuts and raisins but I could only get a small bag, and I got some savoury snacks. I went to the frozen section next and got some Quorn pieces for me. I got a box of microwave chips for Syd and some chicken pies for Mum. Then I got some Youngs Gastro pub fish and 4 Youngs cod in batter. I also got them some more of the mini pizzas. I also got some mini cocktail sausages Then I got kitchen roll, toilet roll and some latex free gloves for me. I looked for some of the Tesco handwash liquid in the pink bottle but I couldn't find any. Then I went to the till and payed. It came to just over £131. I went back to the bench where my Mum was sitting and gave her her change, club card and shopping list. I actually had a book to swap yesterday! So I went and swapped that at the Tesco book swap. At about 4:20pm we went back down on the lift. Syd wasn't there yet so we sat on a bench for a few minutes. Then when Syd came we put everything in the boot and went home.
