Whodunnit Games

I have always wanted to participate in a whodunnit game or a murder mystery dinner. This past Halloween, our family did something a little different and played out one of these games. It was so much fun. A few weeks before the event, we all chose our characters. It was a Halloween themed murder mystery that my daughter and her mother-in-law found at Five Below. Our character cards described our appearance, our personalities, and specific lines to incorporate into our dialogues. My husband and son did the best at getting into character. They really got into acting out their roles. We laughed and had such a good time. We decided to make this a regular event for our family. The next game will be in February. It is a Valentine themed murder mystery. I can't wait. My character was a nature witch who was intrigued with spiders. I am ready to choose my character for the next event. Has anyone else ever participated in such an activity? What are your thoughts?
