Old buildings often evoke a sense of nostalgia. They carry stories of the past, reflect the architectural styles of their time, and remind us of moments or eras we may associate with history or personal experiences especially the old houses. Walking through an old structure can transport you to a different time, stirring memories or sparking curiosity about the lives and events it witnessed. Do you have a favorite old building or place that holds special meaning for you?

Absolutely, I feel they give kind of peace in terms of how they have seen ages and times without falling.

Our first home was in the historic district of the city that we lived in. It had been brought up to date with the heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing and kitchen cabinetry, but it had such a warmth and cozy feeling to it. The hardwood floors, the plaster, the size and shapes of the windows. I feel very happy in older buildings.
