My warranty expires today

Today my PSU (power supply unit) arrived at the store where I bought it. When I took my computer to service they said the PSU was completely dead. It lasted 2 years. I am not sure if they will replace it because today is the last day of the warranty. I am not sure what is the law. I tried to find more information about it and I couldn't. If they won't replace my PSU I will have to buy a new one. I think they will decide if they are going to repair it or not. And the holidays will come soon. It will last a long time to see what they decided. Fortunately, I have my laptop, but my cats keep jumping on it sometimes. I have to hide my laptop from them.

I took it to service before warranty expired. But I bought it from another town and until I talked to them the days passed and here I am. The computer service is from my town and I bought it online. Here they have very expensive computers and I prefer to buy them online. But I think now it's too late and they won't solve anything.

@RebeccasFarm They offered me to buy a very expensive PSU, but it was too expensive. I hope they can solve my problem for free if it's possible.

I hope the law is in your favor, I don't think all warranties are the same so I'm clueless. I'd guess the warranty is still valid but who knows, even if it is not... they could be nice during the holidays and replace regardless.

Until now they always changed my broken things. This is the second time when one of my computers had a problem. I hope I will have good luck and they will replace it. I noticed that I have 2 warranties. One lasts for 60 months and another one lasts 24 months.
