Following my last discussion about Apple tags, several people didn’t really understand what I was talking about. I didn’t know how to explain them properly so I asked ChatGPT for a simple 100-word explanation.
I’ll add the whole 100-words here. We all have our own opinions on AI but we’ve found it very useful from time to time.
So here is ChatGPT’s explanation. I don’t think I’ve breaking any privacy rules. I can't seem to put it in italics. Sorry
Apple Tags, also known as AirTags, are small tracking devices designed to help you locate and keep track of personal items like keys, bags, or wallets. They use Bluetooth technology to communicate with nearby Apple devices. When you misplace an item with an AirTag attached, the Find My app can show its location on a map. If it’s out of range, the AirTag can be located using a network of other Apple devices. AirTags are compact, water-resistant, and have replaceable batteries. They also feature privacy protections, ensuring that only the owner can track the device.
You can see the four tags in the photo and on the right is a key-ring we bought which will attach one of the tags to the car key-ring.

Oh I'm surprised that several people didn't udnrsetand or didn't really know what an Apple air tag is. It's quite popular. But that's the only Apple product I don't 'have coz I don't have a need for it, When they first launched it, I was kind of surprised that it was affordable.

I haven't started getting forgetful yet, but as I continue to age I know that day is coming where I am going to start misplacing lots of things, and then be clueless as to where I left them. At that point, Air Tags will become a must-have for me.
