Dashing Thru the Snow

Good morning myLot friends. 
It is a very cold start to this day today. We also had a bit of light snow fall over night.
I like the cold, I prefer it dry, but with these temperatures that snow isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Winter officially arrives today, so the snow is welcoming the new season. Now I look forward to the end of this season.
This morning my husband will come with me to get groceries. I can use his help because I do not want to miss anything that we will use for the next couple of weeks. I am trying to get what we need to see us through into 2025. We will go out dashing through the snow bright and early so that we are back home again before the traffic gets really busy.

It has been such a hectic and busy week at work, that I did not trust even my list as I was afraid that I would forget something.
We had a difficult time finding whole wheat dinner rolls, but I finally found some when I went to the store that had the raspberries and blackberries. We stopped taking white bread or rolls about 15 years ago.

We were greeted with that white stuff this morning too. It looks pretty but Iit could have waited til January.
I'm also trying to stock up so I don't have to shop until after the holidays. I think we're in good shape but will probably need milk and bread at some point.
Wishing you and the family a very Merry Christmas and looking forward to hearing all about the twins and their Christmas.

You are getting a big haul. I go to a variety of stores, because I find not all stores have everything I am looking for. I also sent friend after a few things easier to find in NOVA.

I can only dream of snow living here in Florida!
You are wise to stock up on groceries to get you through the rest of the year. I was at the grocery store this morning and it was a madhouse with all the people trying to buy everything they need for Christmas and New Years's meals.

It's good to get as much shopping done as possible before Christmas. And a bonus not to have to go out between Christmas and New Year.
