Happy Solstice everyone! From now on, the days will be getting a tiny bit longer until the end of June, at which time they'll start to get shorter again. There was a big red sun going down today but I didn't get a photo. Instead, I give you stonehenge.

It's funny, because what's on paper is often not the reality. We actualy had our shortest day over a week ago in terms of sunset. I've noticed it starts showing signs of getting longer at least, at night, a lot sooner. But , if you're paying attention, you don't notice.

True, we don't notice if we're not paying attention. And then one day we notice it's still light out at 6pm.

We've had our long, long day so it's shorter ones from now on although it takes a week or two before we notice much difference.
