Yesterday I had a drink with a friend at the officers Mess bar. My friend looked wan and tired. I asked him the reason and he told me that in last 4 months his wife had spat on him. I was surprised and asked what the reason could be. He replied that his wife was angry that he had an affair many years back. She had kept quiet for long and now suddenly she had started this act of spitting on him. I could give him no answer and so left. I wonder if readers can give their opinion.
