I have been in a good mood these few days, Touchwood. Maybe it's because of the upcoming Christmas or the unfounded enthusiasm and groundless euphoria of the New year. Anyways, hoping for things to stay like this. Do you feel happy in the month of December? Or especially the last week of December?

I always feel happy. I feel happy even when I'm in problems. From my birth till now I have experienced so many ups and downs. Now I know problems come and get solved.I love all seasons and all weathers.

I must be getting old and cynical as I'll just be quite glad when Christmas is over and everything is back to normal.

Enthusiasm is catchy, but can real happiness also be caught from others, or from some outside event? Real happiness is not just a fleeting blowing up of our sails by an outside wind. Real happiness must come from deep within, from a certain foundation of love, that holds us in itself, so that the seed of the person we are grows from that love, and happiness is a result of us growing from love, by love, and remaining in that love, as we grow. As soon as we plant our seed away from love, we will feel the pains of our doing so, and we feel unhappy too, as a result of this. Move back into love, and allow the real happiness to keep you full of itself, as love breathes happiness into you from itself.

@Dreamerby Happiness should become our natural state, and should not be dependent on outside events. Real happiness is deeper than surface fancies, which just inflate us for a while, then disappear. Real happiness should be a part of who we are.

I see. By that means I have never really been happy, it seems. Because whenever I have been happy, it always has had a reason.

@innertalks But I have never been happy just like that. Back as a child too, I would be pleased if someone gave me chocolates or a soft toy or some gift
