Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 37 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. It is cold out there! I woke up early and ate something but I had a wicked headache. I never get headaches. I popped 3 ibuprofen and went back to bed for a couple of hours. I felt 100% better when I woke up again. I ran up to Trader Joe's to get my mother a gift card as part of her birthday present. I was afraid that the place would be a total madhouse but surprisingly it was not. It actually was the *least* crowded that I've ever seen it. I also stopped at the liquor store to get a bottle of wine as a gift for a friend. I checked my MegaMillions and Powerball tickets and one of them (not sure which) was a $7 winner so I got myself one more of each. Why not? I'm back here at the apartment. I am going to make the Mexican wedding cookies and then get going on the peppermint ice cream base. That should keep me busy for most of the afternoon. What's everyone else up to today?
