Hello everyone. I hope your day was good. It is 28 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore.
Well Christmas is over and it is back to reality tomorrow. I didn't have a particularly good time but my neighbor did. I didn't have of anything to say to anyone. By the time we sat down to eat my stomach was funny. I ate only like 4 or 5 of the homemade ravioli that we make only once a year for the holiday. By the time I was finished I excused myself, went to one of the upstairs bathrooms, and sure enough I puked. The kids were exhausted (after getting up at 3:30am) and fading fast so we did the White Elephant before cleaning up and having dessert. When my neighbor was done it was 5pm and we had to go because she had to get back here to feed and walk her dog.
Got back here, started putting things away, and I puked again. I think it was 3 times in all today. I lit a candle, turned on a movie, and then decided to just give up and go to bed. I got up about 10 minutes ago and popped an edible gummy. It takes some time for it to kick it but I am hoping that it will help me to finally fall asleep.
So I'm up for a bit until this thing kicks in. Hopefully I will be back in bed and asleep too. What's everyone else up to this evening?

It sounds as if that stomach bug has gone coast to coast. So sorry you got ill. Rest as much as you can.

I'm sorry you got sick. I had a fairly pleasant day, all things considered.

I am sorry you were sick. Stress and emotions can really mess with the body.
May I make the suggestion that you start a vacation fund for next Christmas? Go visit someone, nor travel to a nice warm beach and soak up the sun. Get away from it all and enjoy your time off!
