Earthquake this evening

While I was watching a TV program so suddenly the chair I sat moved. I was so scared, it lasted 4 minutes shaking and it seemed eternal. There are only two of us at home I and my eldest sister. We prayed for God's protection and to stop the quake. It's what I observed every Christmas earthquake attacked. I hate earthquake it seems I'm helpless.The magnitude was 5.0 and the epicenter was in Davao. Davao is under the ring of fire.
I hope there is no aftershock and pray no earthquake eve of New Year so we'll be happy embracing 2025. Time is too short and gold. Advance Happy New Year to all of us.

I´m so very sorry. Although 5.0 is not too high by our standards, every earthquake is scary. We don´t know what will happen next.

Oh, no! I'm glad you are OK.
I remember we had a very small earthquake once in the UK when I was on the toilet! I could feel the shaking! Another time we had a small one I could hear the crockery rattling in the cupboard!
