I´m about to go to the bathroom to really scrub myself. I discovered that a normal shower did not take away the sticky rests of band aids and the like.
My skin is full of bruises. I know that it will be a matter of time but they are not very festive.
Dixie is coming tomorrow to bring me more meds. As Humberto said that I had to take antibiotics for another week, what I have is not enough. I send her the list and she will buy them for me.
After my shower, I´ll wrap Dixie´s and Humberto´s presents. Then I´ll see what I´ll do for lunch.

@MarieCoyle I´m eating what I want to eat and it is nothing too difficult because I still feel weak. But today I brought out a piece of trout and I will sort of bake it with foil on top. I will serve it with poiled buttered potatoes. And I found a nectarine in my fridge.

I´m doing better. This is the first time I have pneumonia in my life. Iy had to be for Christmas.

I have a tub upstairs but I don´t use it. I can´t get out of it because of my knees. But I take long relaxing showers now. And yesterday I had the pleasure of daring to wash my hair after many days.

I’m glad you’re feeling some better. Hope your bruises heal quickly, too. I hate those things, they usually hand around on me longer than the illness that sent me to the ER does! (Especially if a nurse blows one of my veins. 
) My mom was on prednisone for the last 6-7 years of her life, and I could sneeze in the same room she was in and raise a bruise on her. 
I noticed my brother bruises more easily too….one of the side effects of older age and thinner skin.

My veins were never good after chemotherapy.

I think that I will just ask for some cotton and hold it until the blood stops the next time. And after a certain age we need more creams over our bodies. I am now using an inexpensive cream with Urea that Humberto checked after a young doctor had prescribed a very expensive one. Humberto told me the urea was the important part and not the expensive lab.
