Whatever it was but at the end of the day it's ok
The last week of advent was a time of hectic final preparation for Christmas. I prepared the choir for singing Christmas hymns in two languages, Bengali and Hindi. The parish priest had told me also to prepare for singing English carols before Mass. I had to go to different places for practice. Everything was ready after I got the lyrics printed.
I put up a " cowshed" to depict the nativity scene on our verandah . I deliberately use the word " cowshed" , for that's what Hindi or Bengali word " goshala" means . The decoration was all done by the foster children.
26th December is the day when I visit our relatives in South Kolkata. As we three went to the station l felt the sharp pain in the waist muscle. By the time we reached the village of our relatives I was walking with much difficulty.
My sister in law gave a massaging ointment and a bottle of hot water to place on the aching muscles. She also gave a pain reliever pill.
Next day, that is today, I feel better but the pain has not left me completely. However, I thought I should try to walk . I went to the church compound to see the goshala in this parish church. The 100 year old church has been dismantled to give place to a new one. The Christmas Mass was celebrated under a tent. Hope they will begin the construction of the new church any time this year.
With all this said, I'm telling myself that I should be more careful not to hurt my waist anymore.

That's a very lovely nativity scene. I'm sorry about the pain. I hope it has gone away completely by now.
