2025 Goals and Plans

Soon we will say goodbye to 2024 and welcome 2025. It should be a good year.
My daughter called a couple of days ago about a family vacation in Florida. My grandson, her youngest, initiated the vacation. They want to have it in March as it encompasses three birthdays - My oldest grandson, my youngest grandson, who initiated the vacation, and my son. They are all two weeks apart starting the first day of spring in March.
When my daughter called me, I didn't know who all would be going. It's a family thing. I'll see my daughter's whole family, plus my son and his girlfriend are also going on this trip. I'll see my great grandchildren whom I haven't seen or never seen in a long time.
Now, the fun starts for me. As many of you know, I'm moving. I don't know when yet, but I'm on the active list and could get the call at any time. I have plans for if it happens while I'm on vacation with my family.
In order for this to happen, I also need to save money for everything, vacation and moving. So, I will squirrel away money into PayPal so I don't use it before I need to. I enlisted my next door neighbor to put a letter in the mail for me if I get the phone call while I'm on vacation. I'm also going to ask a friend from the Tuesday Bible study if she can help with the the application fee and deposit. No, I'm not asking her to pay it for me, just take it to the manager if necessary and I'm not home. I don't want to lose the apartment if I'm not there when the call comes. With my luck, I'll be on vacation when I get the call. I will be ready in any event.
So, no more spending on anything not a bill. I need to save not spend.
2025 is also the year I plan to publish two books. I have four I'm working on to publish, and it might be different ones if I run into more trouble with the ones I'm working on. I have several I can work on to edit and get ready to publish.
I also have several books I need to finish writing. When I finish Wilderness Cry, I will need to go back to Wilderness Challenge and make revisions so it doesn't conflict with Wilderness Cry. Sequels aren't always easy to write. You need to have all the facts right.
Lots happening in 2025. I also want to make new friends when I move.

A)Your upcoming Florida Family vacation plans.
B)Firm plans on books.
I am glad that you are active here again.
I am less active than say a year ago but reasonably active on some days.
2024 has been a mixed and kind of uphill and downhill mix.
No hard die cast plans for 2025 but empiricallly :
A) Accelerate my new technologies studies including practice and hands on.
B) Continue with current way of working on Online sites and passive income stream..
C)Be more proactive on the health front.
D)Test and adopt more practices for earning more in a sustainable ways- conventional or unconventional.
Apart from all of the above, focus on maintaining sanity!

Helping my husband with his goals. He wants the peg tube out, it's a process. Get george Driving again, because he wants his freedom back. Speach is also going to give us a letter or something to confirm to police, or someone, about his speach problems heven forbid. Because people with his level do drive and he wants to drive again.

Good luck with all your plans. Florida vacation! And with family that you want to visit with. Couldn't be better. I wish you success with your book work and sales. My plans for this coming New Year? Physical stuff: work on gardens more, walk dogs, go to pool more. Big goal for this coming year: take train north so that I can visit a niece AND go on a small trail hike with her. And yes to writing. Must write.

My goals for 2025 is to make money writing news stories on this site and maybe try to work with the Twitter site to increase my chances to make money on that site to assist my relatives pay their bills and purchase food and drinks.

I plan and am expecting to be halfway to my goal weight by this time next year Slow and steady or maybe even not so steady wins the race Unlike you I will need to spend some to enhance my quality of life I need to buy some furniture and a car,plus other household maintenance things that need to be done .like septic tank cleaning

I hope you find a low maintenance car. Septic tank cleaning doesn't sound like fun, but furniture shopping does. I hope you make your weight goal.
If I can lose another 30 pounds this year, I will be close to my goal weight. We can both do it.

I wish you the very best of luck and hope you make all your goals. I usually figure things out on the first day of the New Year and then see how I am doing about three months later if anything needs changing,

Two months at the earliest. I know when I moved here; it was two months.
I don't want the call today. I don't have the funds until after payday and that would give me a financial heart attack. I need at least two months to save before I get the call.

Sounds like a lot already planned for your year ahead. That's good to hear, and I hope it all goes well.
Not much here, though I would love to move. Also would love to have a baby in 2025. I at least hope for the baby to happen for sure.

Well, thats good plan to secure the place in case you are on vacation. 2025, I do have goals. One of the biggest goals for this year would be to bring down the current debt by atleast 55% by end of year. It is massive for sure but then I would be careful with my expenses and will do my best to bring down the expenses compared to last year. There are other goals realted to health and office work and all are time bound. I also have goals on my website and need to work on that. So , yes 2025 is action filled year for me and could be busy with things for the most of the year. Well, good luck with your plans. Enjoy the time!
