I Do Not Know If I like it, I Have Not Heard This Neighborhood This Quiet Since 1927

We do not mind if dogs bark, chase that mail person with your silly drooling face. We just were tired of hearing blood curling screams for hours at a time and constant whining from being locked in a cage.
My sister has whole neighborhood keeping all their dogs in check. Its so quiet, people even driving by all nice. 
I guess I could let out our dogs out to start some barking madness. So this is what a normal quiet neighborhood sounds like.I am not sure I am ready for such a thing.

@kaylachan That must be nice, this house is built for earthquakes, earthquakes but absorbs no sound what so ever. I think it actually makes echo's. That is interesting I wonder if they have classes on this. I am sure they do, just we poor,

The same goes with my neighborhood being quiet at night except for a dog barking next door.

@crossbones27 I have no idea why the neighborhood barks during the late evening hours. Maybe the dog saw some stray cats.

Sounds like my neighborhood. Only dogs barking. We like it that way. Maybe something will make some noise.

@popciclecold It will not last, but its kind of nice, I suppose, maybe my brother will stop complaining for once.
? Hard to imagine total silence. Makes you want to go outside and scream to the top of your lungs to make sure life is still real. Or wait, let the dogs do it

@much2say Its just how people are these days, I guess. Damn people really arguing and police and dogs,locking my doors, locking children up locking dogs up. They know when they see police to batten down the hatches.
Actually the young officer who handled it was very good. He actually did his job how you supposed to do it, deescalate not escalate. The veterans like we can't mess no one up, we out of here, just kidding but they did take off because he had it covered.

@RasmaSandra That must be Lovely. Los Angeles as a city is more quiet normally than where I live.
