Hello everyone. I hope your day has been going well. It is 50 degrees F and raining here at the Jersey Shore. So happy that it isn't snow!
It has been a quiet day here. I wound up napping for a couple of hours this afternoon so I'm a bit behind on my cooking projects. It is all good though because there is always tomorrow. 
The beef bouguignon is done. I gave half of it to my downstairs neighbor. She was amazed at how delicious it was.
I've moved on to the French onion soup. The onions are currently caramelizing on the stove. This takes almost an hour so I just have to be patient. I have a window open to get some of the onion smell out of here. My eyes are still watering! 
We shall see if I still have any motivation by the time the soup is done to make the angel food cake. I hope I can get it made tonight. We shall see.
What's everyone else up to tonight?

Just finished work and 2 days off now.

I had a lot to do but did nothing. I put my blanket over me and sat in the recliner until I fell asleep for about an hour. Have a good day.

I still think you should go to culinary school and be one of those ritzy chefs, and we can all say ''I knew her when''...you love to cook. I do as well, but I am not as gourmet as you are!
I make French Onion soup sometimes, too. Carmelizing onions is a slow process, and yes, your home will smell like onions for several days!
