President Jimmy Carter has passed away at 100 years old

He has joined his beloved wife Rosalynn in heaven. His presidency was ridiculed but he did some great things and continued to try to help fellow Americans after he left office. He was regularly seen putting work in at Habitat for Humanity projects well into his 90s.
It was sad to see him so diminished at his wife's funeral but of course he had to be there. Frankly I expected him to pass quickly after that. I'm amazed that he hung on for so long after being on hospice for almost 2 years.
Rest peacefully President Carter. What an amazing example of human kindness you were.

Jimmy Carter should be remembered for the great works he did as our leader like getting a peace treaty signed between Israel and Egypt.
