I keep a Chrome Book by my bed. It's dedicated to writing. No way will I hook it to the internet. The Writing Fairy visited me last night. She gave me a pretty neat and tidy mini fantasy Tale. I thanked Her for Her generosity and today went over it with hubby. We've had a good time, wrangling over details and what? do you mean by that? It might become next year's Yule Tale though it barely mentions even the Winter Solstice. The other fun is, you guessed it, food oriented. We ordered some too tasty items from a Back East company that specializes in British treats. Today I heated up one of the company's Christmas puddings. That means that I placed the plastic tub of pudding into a stock pot of water and let the tub boil for two hours. The pudding was supposed to be steamed for two hours but I did not have a steamer large enough. So I improvised. The result? Very tasty. I gingerly took the plastic tub out of the water after things had cooled a little and yeah! A round, portly moist fruitcake stood there ready to be gently placed on a plate. We're ordering from the company next year again for sure.
