It's Been A While Again

We just got back from a relative, we spent the Holidays at my aunt house together with my mom's other siblings. We have so much fun there, we pick indian mangoes, we eat a lot and we sleep a lot.
My mom and my aunts cooked a lot of food everyday, and some of my cousin go to the mall to buy stuff for the Christmas Eve, while the rest of my cousins watched a lot of movies and some of us make fun of each other.
Starting 23 we were already at my aunt house to prepare for the Christmas and we really had fun. Now we are home and my family will celebrate the new year at home just us.
How about you, when and how did you celebrate Christmas?

Yes, though I try to do my lot while being there, but the kids are so loud and keeps running around, and my mom will always ask me to help in the kitchen. But that was so fun. And we always eat early breakfast since it looks like a province, and there is a big tree of indian mangoes, we picked lots of mangoes during the day.
You ate at vikings, did you had a reservation early? can you believe when we got back from my aunt house, Jollibee and everywhere here when you order you need to wait several minutes... in Jollibee they said we have to waith for 1 hour and a half in all products. Grabe! I just decided to get a shawarma for snacks, and the stall said that I need to wait for another 15 mins minutes because they are still heating a new pan.

@rakski Wow you are so prepared. That's fun to know. You have visitors. We will not be expecting visitors from a relative this year but our godchildren might be coming, though the others came by last Saturday.
My cousin will come on the 31st of this month to get some mechado and bagoong. We will all celebrate the New Year at our respective homes since its a tradition, that everyone should spend new year at home. Though it looks boring but its very fun to me and my sister, we would watch our tradition movie "the prince and Me" and "Legally Blonde".. do you also love those movies??? I love it so much.

@luisadannointed I was quite busy as well several days before Christmas. I had to clean the whole house, change bed sheets and all since they will be staying here for four days. We reserved early for vikings for Christmas and end even for new year dinner. The waiting time before Christmas is too long. Even the pizza, we order 1 day in advance.

Yes we did! We will be celebrating the New year at home, its a tradition that every family should celebrate New Year in their homes.

Yes, it has been a while and same with some of us including me. Christmas was simple and elegant at home. Celebrated the occasion with whatever we have and grateful for the day. Had home food and less items from the outside for a change. I was indoors most of the day. Did few shopping days prior and that was nice. Did watch a few series and movies in OTT. Weather has been warm the last few days as well. Good to know how your days have been. Well, in case we do not talk earlier , wish you and hear and dear ones a very Happy and Prosperous New Year!
