Waiting on orders.

I tend to snag stuff when it’s on sale or when I’ve got enough gift card balance to buy something from my wishlist. You can roll your eyes if you want, but it totally works for me/us. A few days ago, I talked about how I found a great sale and ordered three things, saving over twenty bucks! I just got a notification that the order cleared customs, so I’m guessing it’ll arrive late this week or next. No rush, though; these were things I wanted but didn’t need right away. Last night, I ordered a Squishmallow for my daughter from Amazon. I cashed out a couple of side hustle earnings and had just enough to grab it. If you’ve been around girls ages 2-15, you know what a Squishmallow is! If not, I attached a pic of the one I ordered. Even though I have Amazon Prime, and they used to brag about their two-day delivery, everything I’ve gotten lately has been taking 5-10 days. This latest order says it’ll be here on the 6th. Seriously, what happened to two-day shipping, Amazon? That was why I kept my Prime membership! Now, I mainly use it for Prime Video. So, since I was talking about the packages I’m waiting for, I figured I’d vent a bit about my frustrations with Amazon Prime.

If I didn’t use Prime Video I might not get Prime either since I could just save my orders until I qualified for free shipping. You’re right, the two day shipping was the draw.

I think it's after 25 dollars you get prime shipping if you don't have prime. lol. We use Video because it has a couple of Chris shows on it. We don't have cable, but we make up for it with the streaming we have.

@thislittlepennyearns They recently upped it to $35, which isn’t bad, but still inconvenient.

I thought a squishmallow was some sort of candy, now I know! That is one thing about living in a small country, Amazon is usually very good for next day delivery

See, i think it's because we live too far away from the warehouse.

@thislittlepennyearns I am guessing that the distribution warehouses are pretty far apart as well

I've found that 2-day shipping works best with things sold by amazon and not third-party vendors. In some cases, I can get things like my husband's underwear with 1-2-day shipping, but things like my meter supplies take 5 or more days.

@thislittlepennyearns Do you doubble check your orders and ensure that the 2-day shipping is selected? Often times, to cut costs they'll default to the standard 3-5 day shipping even 1 or 2 is an option.

Everything I order, well 80 of it is Amazon and not third party. So that's why it bugs me.

Prime video always says it is out of bandwidth halfway through the video. It must be just me. Nothing comes in two days.

That's a interent problem, not an Amazon problem.
