At this extended family meet at our place I noticed how youngsters found themselves grouping together.
You can see them seated together and they even performed together.
That was not my idea of segregating the group agewise but there is little that an organizer can do if participants choose that

Usually that would be a scene to be seen. Youngsters get along well in groupings.

Every progroamme that I have organized I see to it that there is a mixed participation. This is the first time I see this kind of a group

I think that's typical . . . the young ones tend to stick together - maybe they feel they can relate better to each other than with the older adults. That's what would happen at our old family gatherings anyway . . . kids with kids, adults with adults.

@allknowing It's good you do that - that is a mindful host. Often here, the generations separate with these gatherings .

Whenever I organise any parties my concept is to have them all under one umbrella and I do succeed to some extent
