Forced to open gift

I only had one gift this Christmas and it was only came from my aunt. I valued it so much that I won't open until my birthday. But then they told me they won't give me anymore gift anymore. That's weird because since it was given to me I have the right to decide when I should open it since it's mine now. I knew what's already inside but when I opened it the color sucked. Maybe I shouldn't have opened it. I wasn't expecting any gift from them anyways since they are so stingy.

Hmm I probably would have let you decide to open it when you wanted to personally. Nice they have you a gift but sad you were excited and hate the color. It looks very girly colored if that’s what it is in the photo.

I wasn't really in the mood of opening the gift. my aunt was the one who asked me to buy the wrapper.

I thought when the gift is yours @wolfgirl569 it's supposed to be your decision to open it, regardless of when.
