What do you check first when you come to MyLot?

My hunch is that most of us have a "pattern" when we come to MyLot. I certainly do.
Mine may have changed a bit over the years, but not by a lot.
The first thing I do is check my own recent posts. I like to leave "return comments" when people comment on my posts.
Then I go to Notifications. I go through as many as I can before Kitty demands attention or I realize I haven't visited the bathroom yet, or that my coffee water might be boiling.
It's then that I search my tired old brain for inspiration to write a post. I try to write at least a post a day when I am in town. If I am out of town, I can access MyLot via my cell phone, but I can't type very fast, so I tend not to post.
After I write a new post, I tend to visit New Discussions, to see what others have been writing about.
Do you have a "pattern" on MyLot?

I think that I have several patterns here. I suppose I need to pay attention and see what I do most.

Yes. First I check my $ for the previous day. Then I write my "Meals" and "Update On My Husband" posts. Then I read and comment on ALL the Discussions written by people that I follow; and then I do the Notifications. This all takes me about 3 hours. Happy New Year!!!

I do have a pattern here, yes. I check "Messages" first as I'm having conversations with several people there. After I finish responding to those, I check "Notifications" and respond to those. Since I don't write discussions anymore, my next step is to check "Most Recent Discussions" to see what is new with everyone on myLot and respond to friends there.

I have not changed much of my habit! I straightly go to notification and clear it by responding those! Then go to recent discussions and try to visit 10 posts!

Sometimes I only respond to notifications when I have no patience to spend time here more than 10 minutes!

I do have pattern when I visit mylot. Guess it took time to develop over a period of time . I visit at first , the notifications and look through all the notifications and respond to them at the earliest. I would then visit the recent discussions and then the hot discussions options.I do mke a point to respond to a fixed number of discussions on a given day . I only access mylot via laptop and have not tried through my smartphone. It is easier to type and respond via the laptop. I have not encountered situation where I do not have access to a laptop yet. Good to know your pattern while checking out Mylot. Enjoy the time!

Yes, I check notifications first and answer as many of them as I can, and then I usually do hot discussions, then I write a post. I also try to answer as many of those who commented on my posts mostly during the notification phase and some afterward.

I usually post something and then go to my notifications, because it used to be that by the time I got through all my older notifications I would have new ones on the post I had just posted.

I check to see if I have any notifications, after which I might check people I follow. And the rare time I wake up with something on my mind, I'll post it before doing all the other stuff I do on the net.

Yes, I have an ongoing ritual that I go through each day. I usually look to see how many comments I have to answer, then I look to see what I have made penny-wise up to that particular day. Then I go through and delete the Like comments so I don't have so many and freak out. Why? Because I get overwhelmed and usually don't have a lot of energy. I usually have between 80 to 120 to do each day. I then go from answering comments to answering new posts from the group. Then I go from one to another. During all of this, I am also researching and writing new posts and also working on a couple of other sites where I make money. I do it that way so I don't get bored. And, if I still have some energy I will go to the Explore and see what I can find there.

I will typically type up a generic post. Usually good night good morning or a varaion thereof. I then go to my notifications, then to recent discussions. then repeat.

I usually check the earnings summary of MyLot first to see how much money I made with my discussions.
