Blind cat gets rescued by 2 strangers when the cat who fell into a frozen lake

Thanks to the actions of two strangers named Kris S. and Nate P. went after a 20 year old male cat was seen floating on a piece of ice at the Nabnasset River on Monday. Nate were able to use a rowboat to get to the area where the cat fell into the lake while using a shovel to break the ice and save the cat from dying from freezing by getting the cat out of the lake. Both Nate and Kris took the cat indoors and warm the cat with blankets before Westlake Animal Control arrived to take the cat who is named Tiki to a veterinarian to be treated for shock. Tiki may have been chased into the frozen lake by a person who preyed on the cat the night before and Tiki was stuck on a block of ice in the lake according to the animal control officers.
