It is now December 31st and I was headed out to get the mail and seen it was raining so I went back in to get my umbrella. I came back out and walked a half a block and lightning flashed in the air. I thought that was strange and I kept walking then all of the sudden it thundered! I was so surprised! I got the mail and returned back to my apartment. When I got home and was thinking about it while I was drying off I remembered that happened once in November also!

We have had nothing but rain lately I miss the fog we were having for awhile. We've had a bit of snow too but that was mostly up in the Rockies.

It's not uncommon in Florida for it to be cold, rainy and windy on New Years day. So, hearing this isn't a surprise.

@dfollin And, you get snow up there regurally in the winter and have to deal with ice and frost on the regular, too. We thankfully don't.
