1/1/25 - Update On My Husband

Wishing all of you a safe, happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!!!
Called yesterday; and he answered the phone. Said he had to call me back but never did. After that his phone was off; and I couldn't call. Called the social worker yesterday; and she had the day off.
It felt weird to spend New Year's Eve alone. But then all the important days this past year were spent alone or at the rehab facility for a couple of hours. Today marks 11 months that my husband has been gone. Hard to believe and very sad.
Thank you for being my friend this past year and providing support, prayers and thoughts for us.

Happy New Year Linda! I’m sorry that you had to spend it alone without your husband. And although we could never take his place, I’m glad you have your myLot friends and family to keep you company.

I know it's been a rough hard year for the both of you
but we can only pray & hope things will get better this year.
I know these past 2 yrs for us hasn't been the greatest
for either 1 of us either, me in the hosp most the yr of 2023
& this year 4 outta 6 dogs have passed away on us, this yr
HAS GOT to be better for all of us at SOME point.
