New Year Day merriment but...

Today, 1 st of January was a day of merriment but not for me. As usual every year on this day past inmates of our orphanage descent on Familia. Some of them have families. They bring their children as well . There were about 250 people in all. There was a grand lunch and some stayed back for the night. After the lunch there were games which made the children enthralled.I could not take part in the games. Perhaps the cold wind has affected me. After the evening thanksgiving mass I returned home on my motorcycle. I tthe snowy cold wind The wind gave me a temperature and a body ache. I had to take a paracitamol to make myself fit for the morning service. But there was another problem during the night. The oily and spicy food ( mainly meat) I ate in my sister-in-law's in South Kolkata was giving me cramps. I had to get out of bed to unload myself. Though in the morning I was slightly better but I was not fully well. Now, it's evening 9 pm . The side feeling is still in my back. My would be doctor daughter, offered me some practical advice. Hope, I'll be fully fit to fight tomorrow's battles. . .
