The photo is mine. Mostly my hubby installed the hanging swag lamp in my kitchen.
To do the job he had to get up on a plastic stool, drill holes over head into hard wood and get the iron bracket to hold steady as he did so. Hubby gets tired pretty easily these days so this process took some effort but he got it done.
Worker guy was supposed to be back to install light bulbs into our very high kitchen ceiling. Yesterday. No he did not show up. When he finally does and gets me more light, at least I will have sixty watts right over my stove. And the big plus? We can change the light bulb!

I like the swag lamp and am glad your hubby managed to do the work of hanging it.
Our landlady sent two guys over a few days ago to install window locks on four windows for us. While one of the guys was waiting for the other one to finish his work, I asked the guy who was just waiting if he'd mind doing something easy that I can't do... I pointed out two curtain rods that weren't hanging right that I can't reach anymore and he fixed them for me in less than two minutes and then refused payment for fixing them.

@sallypup We really appreciated his help. Pretty won't let me climb ladders anymore and I wouldn't even if she let me. I've never liked heights but I'm not steady on my feet anymore and a fall could break something... Me in particular.

@DaddyEvil I am almost your twin. Physical therapists spent months trying to make my body over. Didn't work. I need to keep exercising cause yup, when I am down, it is horrible to get me up right.

@DaddyEvil That was nice of the man. High curtain rods and high shower curtains are the devil.
