He made a "roulade of beef" as the cookbook called it. It is pretty much the same as a German Rouladen. I made the gravy.
We ate red cabbage and whole berry cranberry sauce with it, plus a baked potato.
I am early putting Christmas away this year, but it feels right to have some things all tidy.I have enjoyed taking it easy on this break.
I may try a new "no bake" cookie tomorrow, we will just have to see. I have all the ingredients.
I have found some missing items while emptying laundry baskets of clean clothes. That feels good as well.
If I do not make it back later, have a good evening. First day of a new year.

Both of you are good at cooking ! Here people who are in work take a day off on New Year' Day.
