Plans for Today

With yesterday's successful start to the new year, what do I do to keep the memento going and make this day and year successful?
Plan and keep to the plan.
First, make it fun. If you can't have fun doing what you're doing. It's time to change your activity. Life is too short to live a constant challenge. Lighten your load or change your outlook.
If you need to do what you're doing, find ways to make the challenge worthwhile. Find the positive aspects of your work situation. Co-workers not friendly. Smile. Compliment something about them. Then sit back and watch them make the changes in themselves. Soon they will smile and you will even enjoy interacting with them.
Second, plan fun activities in your life. Life is to short to work full time and not take time to relax and have fun. What do you like to do? When was the last time you did what you like? Plan fun time.
Third, jot down your plans for the day and mark them off as you complete them.
My plans for today -
Work on my Bible study and post it to three sites: my e-mail group, myLot, and Word Press.
Respond to notification on myLot and Word Press.
Canasta. Every Thursday it's time to enjoy a game among friends.
Write - Work on books for at least an hour. Longer if the writing is going well. I'll do that after Canasta.
Scheduled event: Housecalls - with my insurance company. The nurse arrived and everything is looking good.
Now, on to the rest of my day. I hope you found my thoughts helpful and my plans enjoyable. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

That is the best way to plan out everything before and then go for it,

I like your suggestion of making a plan. Sometimes it's just easy to not plan and then be disappointed when you don't accomplish anything. I have a few short term goals for this month and I decided to keep a journal and see if I accomplish them. When February rolls around I'll make new goals for that month. I really would like to look back when 2025 ends and see how many of my monthly goals I managed to do.

@just4him You aren't going to believe this but I got a prayer box for Christmas and it's the same concept.

That should be fun.
A suggestion I read about on Word Press that one person is doing is to write a blessing on a piece of paper and put it in a jar, a mason jar was pictured, and on the 31st of December read all the slips of paper to see God's blessings for the year.

I like taking life one day at a time. I only plan out the day when it comes to the more important things, like scheduling trips. Which have become considerably harder since George's stroke. Other then that I'm like I'll do it when I get to it kind of thing. I just take each day as it comes. Thankful to see another sun rise or sun set.

Your thoughts are absolutely spot on. One of my prime targets this year is to make my life better and remove some of the loads off my table. Debts - I am looking at removing a significant amount of my debt this year if things work out and by end of year I should have some leverage in that area. Thats a good thing to leave out of my life. Next would be the constant work and things , I look to free up some time to enjoy my life better. However, in order to do that I can need to cut down certain things once and for all.Hopefully , will ahve that done by end of year. I will also add new fun activities to have life better. Enjoy your time Valerie!
