Had an enjoyable Holidays / myLot

It’s already January 3rd, 2025! Wow, time really flies. I had a wonderful holiday with my family, especially on my mom's side. We spent Christmas day at my aunt's house, who is my mother’s younger sister. We had a simple celebration, exchanged gifts, and enjoyed a small feast. I won a game, and my aunt from New Zealand gave us some cash as a prize. For New Year’s, we just stayed at my parents' house, and I left in the evening. Now I’m back in the province, and it’s been raining heavily. How were your holidays?

you won a game? congrats! nothing like spending your holidays with your family. sorry for the rain. my holidays were all all right. just waiting for january 6 to go away and no more holidays until easter, finally

Your holiday sounds absolutely lovely.

Christmas for me was a non event. My nieces and nephew got sick, so I didn’t go anywhere that day. Although, Christmas Eve with my dad had been very nice. However, by New Year’s the children were better so we took the two and a half hour trip up to see my sister and her family that day. They got to open their presents, and we got to visit.
