I heard the rain fallling in the night and when i woke up in the morning, there was snow in the ground too. It felt like endless falling. I had some plans for later and i have some plans for tomorrow. I was shocked and felt this weather event will leave bad taste in my mouth with my plans but with temperature getting higher, until 3C.degrees, snow is slowly melting and i know things will be good now. I am so thankful! But, it's still cold but, i can't complain twice

I know I have complained more than twice about a lot of things - so go ahead. I hope you will get to go forth with your plans and that the weather won't disrupt that. I cannot complain - the sun is out and we will never have snow - and I will be very cold in the mornings in our standards

@grenery8 Hope you stay warm out there and that you get your sun! It may be warm here most of the year, but we can also be dry with no rain - which leaves us in a drought condition. Pros and cons to everything, right? Oh I'm glad you made it to shopping after all. Today and tomorrow we have severe wind conditions . . . so I'm not sure what we will do today

coincidentally, today is warmer but only for a few days but, yes, i need more sun in my life; you're lucky

my plans were going to the shopping mall but i went in the end and thank you

and yes, weather is in my complaints too so, thank you again

@much2say sorry for winds. we got wind as well and it's warmer but this night, we go back to cold again. thank you, i'm staying warm. i dislike more this situation that is warm outside and i'm feeling colder inside, doesn't make any sense

For the past couple of days something has been on my cat Freddie's mind, At promptly 3 AM he starts caterwauling and they sounds he makes almost sound like he wants to try speaking English, I firmly shout Freddie to sleep and eventually, he goes back to sleep, You know how it is here in Florida right now we complain about the cold and later in the year we will complain about the heat,

@grenery8 weather conditions have made Fed Ex late with deliveries and I am waiting for my Chewy litter order, Even have had to shred paper in the litter box and now Freddie is mad at me, Talked to Chewy since it is the fault of Fed Ex they say the order should be coming but still reimbursed me $10. However, that means nothing to the cats WHERE IS THE LITTER????

I always get anxious when there is snow in the forecast. I don't go out much during winter, but hate the feeling of being snowed in and trapped. Glad it was not too bad. I escaped a similar fate with less snow accumulation than predicted. Whew!

@dgobucks226 indeed! i remember as a teenager when ice was falling from people's roof; winter was very cold back then. one time, it fell just right behind me and i felt i saved myself cause, if i stopped for a second, i would have had been hit actually, injured by ice

. it was this shape of ice.

we had it for 3 days and it melted. spring weather came and this evenening, we're back to cold again. always some kind of unexpected things

Perhaps the rain and snow was the nature's way of greeting the New Year. That is a good way too. Well, good thing is the temperature is getting warmer and you should be able to go out tomorrow. A little cool is fine and not cold. In a week or less , things should be fine and there may not be more snow. Where I am stationed , it is getting hot. The temperature is at 32C and summer is actually in April. Well, a long hot summer is not something I would love to see . Well, need to be prepared on all fronts. Well , enjoy your day!

i am a winter child but i got used to milder winters and dry ones so this winter, i was very surprised, we're today at 12 C but yesterday, it was -2 C. and it's been like that for days. i am waiting for our spring on march 21, officially and by weather, even sooner. i'm happy you will have summer in april; i hope not too hot. yes, we should be constantly prepared, if we can. thank you, enjoy your day too.
