More rain.

I see wet pavement and clouds. It's chilly out but not really cold. Probably no snow on Mt. Diablo.
The last time I visited the pharmacy, my illegal sunflower plants were wrapped around each other for comfort, but had not yet borne flowers. It may be too cold at this point.
Here at the ranch, my five Roma tomatoes are still green and firm (should I just harvest them as they are?), and show no inclination toward turning red. I can tell my balcony snow peas will yield soon.
If I can find it, I'll attach a photo I took of my poor childless sunflowers. And maybe I'll attach a sad post-Christmas song I recorded a few years ago. For some reason it never got much traction on YouTube, Most of you have probably already seen it
Oh well. (Eeyore)

Twas a bit overcast, but this half the day got sunny! No rain in sight. I do think sunflowers need full sun. Hope your home harvests do well . . . I hope I can grow edibles this year. Daughter went to work, so son and I are kicking it at home . . . . going to walk under the sun soon.

I had lunch, told them point blank I’m not leaving my house when the winter storm warning starts on Sunday so not to look for me, then came home and had hot tea. I’m going to put a pain patch on my side and take a nap.

Hope they bloom and hope the tomatoes ripen

Listened to your sad tune... now I want to slit my wrists (not really).
Slice one of your green tomatoes in half and you may be surprised to find that it's red inside.

Your sunflowers are huge! Your tomatoes probably should come in if they're not turning red. Have a good weekend. Nothing happening today. Will see my husband tomorrow.
