Here I have been saying how I miss having a white Christmas. In Florida we don’t get snow and now I should never have said I missed snow. The Facts: On Friday and Saturday two cold fronts hitting Florida and the second on Jan 8 with blast of Arctic air. North Florida temps could drop below freezing. Jan 11 or 12 the polar vortex comes to drop temps even lower Finally the part about careful what you wish for – The Panhandle could possibly see brief snow flurries

@RasmaSandra Sadie starts off keeping me warm on the couch, and then about 3am she heads for her blanket on the recliner.

@RasmaSandra Wearing layers helps me a lot to stay warm. Usually, if there is a warm spot to go to, a pet will find that spot and stay there awhile if it's cold.

Well, I did read about Florida getting Snow this time around. Well, that was some wish granted! However, I am little worried on the climate change. Here ,were I am stationed , the temperature has already started getting warmer. Ideally , it should be fine aroudn this time as summer usually starts around April and lasts till May end. I guess this time summer has started early and would be for long and perhaps hard on us. Equally worried on the heatwaves. The only I wish I can have is let the summer not be harsh on us . Take care!

I agree. Do you have snowfall there now?? I wished for quitting my job and have a business of my own. I pondered over it for days and then resigned from my job. Now I earn more than my salary as a job holder.

Flrida does see flurries every so often. Once about every five or ten years. Cities that border Georgia might see snow fall to some degree a bit more often. This is rare, but not unheard of. Most of the time, the flurries happen Early in the morning or late at night. Last time it Flurried here in Daytona, I slept through it and it was gone ca few hours later.

It happens. Once years ago we got snow here in our valley. Granted, it was only a quarter of an inch on the ground, but it was still snow.
