No Internet Since Last Night

My vacation is over. I got back home last night from my father's hometown.
When I got home, plugged the router. I learned that there was a power outage here yesterday. Same thing happened last month. After the outage, the router did not provide internet access.
I already have technical report and will be resolved within 36 hours. I just can't believe it happened again. Planning to switch to competitor but I am still under the lock-in period. Will check what other option I have.

@MrDenata I don't what happened. Light level is too high so the technician who came here removed the cable extension and plugged the router to the main cord/cable which is shorter.

@MrDenata That's true and he needs it for his job. I can always read a book or watch a movie if our internet goes out.

@jobelbojel you're welcome, I think almost all providers have the same problem when the equipment doesn't work properly.

@rakski I don't why they set up that way - if there is an existing ticket, the call will not be connected to the live person. The call to the recorded prompt will end after providing the update of the ticket.

Happy New Year to you and near and dear ones! Well, thats not a start you woul anticipate. And sometimes it happens. I too had that trouble with my previous provider until I decided to cancel them . I did complain that their service has been horrible and well went with the best option possible back then. It was a good decision as later the service went worse and I am not hearing anything about their service these days. Do talk to them and ask for discounts for the outages and the losses you had or state you are ready to pull the plug. You are also entitled to certain service guarantees as well. Good Luck!

I cannot connect to a live person now as the recording noticed that I have an open ticket. I will call them once completed - I hope it will be fixed tomorrow. If not, I will go their physical office.
