The weather looks frightening. Accuweather is still sticking with the 1 or 2 inch snow and ice totals, but I don't see how it could be, when it is supposed to snow for 16 hours or something. That doesn't make sense. What really looks bad though is the night time lows for next week. Down in the single digits. I am not sure I remember it being quite that cold here, although it was plenty cold a few years ago when we had that bad storm. I am going to see if I can finish putting that snowblower together today. I hope so. I am not very mechanical. Friend started it when he was here, but was not keen on finishing it. I will be thrilled if I can get this together, and I can get it out of my way. Wish me luck...I almost guarantee we will have more snow than what they are calling for. The weatherman last night said Northern parts of this county will have 8 to 12..so I am suspecting we will have somewhere in the 7 to 8 region.

Friend giot some of the construction wrong. He was just winging it, and wouldn't"t look at the directions

@JudyEv I am standing there saying "Did you look at the manual!? Look at figure 3 etc." He glances at it and goes back to doing is own thing.

I didn't work on it yesterday That might e a good idea. Some people who ave those blades slow other peoples driveways for 70 89 bucks a pop.

It looks like the storm will be south of us. Only the southern part of Ohio will be affected. That's OK. We already have 6 inches of s**w. Stay safe and warm and have a good day.

Yep, although it will be exceedingly cold this coming week, I bet we will have a big jump in temp the week afterward..like up to 70 or something.

Stay warm. I have lived places that got below 0 when I was very young, but only recall getting in single digits and it was very bitter.

Yeah, if the power goes out we are going to have a real problem here. They did have a warming center in the community, but it was not open at night when you would really need it.
