We are finally roasting the turkey we bought for New Year's. I am so hungry and have been smelling the aroma for hours. I can't wait to eat some of it.
What are you eating today? What food did you eat for the holidays? Do you have traditional foods for the holidays?

@Deepizzaguy Nice. Its crazy how Hamburgers from a restaurant is about the same price as fast food. This world is something else right now.

I can smell the turkey roasting from here!
I just ate some chicken nuggets with roast potatoes and carrots for lunch.
I've got sliced turkey thawing in the fridge for supper late tonight.

@akalinus We mostly eat beef or chicken so adding turkey to something makes it seem more "exotic" than it really is. I make a lot of pasta during the year and adding turkey makes it more delicious.

I am eating a crazy crust pizza. I had turkey over the holidays and had some turkey veggie soup earlier with some of the leftover turkey.

@akalinus No; not near Christmas; but we have "Makar Sankranti" in the middle of January.
You are right. Most of these dishes are sweet. All of them are loved across India. Most people enjoy puri and potatoes as breakfast.
All these are our traditional foods.
