Thursday police were called to investigate an individual wandering around the train track in Payette, Idaho. (Payette is about 60 miles north of Boise)Brent Sharrai was arrested when he tried to flee the scene. The police were shocked at what they found on the train. It was an explosive device or bomb. The Nampa Police Department bomb disposal squad was called out and a robot was used to remove and eliminate the bomb. Later the FBI sent an agent to investigate the scene.
Could Idaho, a more remote state well off the path of national attention, be the next target of 'lone wolf' terrorism? Idaho is certainly not New Orleans or Las Vegas.

The news media are reporting that the authorities are fearful that the terror attack in New Orleans could inspire copycat criminal actions around the nation and the world.

Could be, but who knows? Glad the guy was arrested and that the explosive device was removed without damaging anything.
