Never knew the existence of Ghirardelli

My experience of eating chocolates off the pan made me do a search for companies that have this facility and that is how I came across this company Ghiarardelli.
They are spread all over and they are now taken over by Lindt. It is reported that earlier it was owned by an Italian.
They are very expensive as I had a look at what they have for sale.

My friend who is returning from her long holiday in the US has been bothering me asking me what I want that she could bring for me. I asked for two Corelle dinner plates and wondered if she could make some online shopping for me for these chocolates. Then I see they are available at Amazon.in But they are very very expensive. I will no want them.

Either way I do not find this brand of chocolates to land in my fridge as they are expensive.

@allknowing Sometimes we can get them on a deal, but if you visit the Ghiradelli shops, everything is very expensive there. They even have ice cream there - and we could not bother with those prices.

Yes, Ghirardelli makes delicious but expensive chocolates. We can buy them in Walmart here. Pretty and I like them but don't buy them often.

@allknowing Sometimes after a holiday, you can get them on sale for a few weeks. You might ask your friend to look if she's near any Walmart Super Centers.
I've never bought them online so don't know how the prices compare.
