Today has been a good day.

I've been posting updates throughout the day. George gave me one final surprise. He asked for something totally unexpected to eat, and he actually ate it. He even asked if I'd make something for me, too. He wanted us to eat at the same time like we used to. It made me feel good to do that.
We spent most of the afternoon (after coming in for the second time) watching the remainder of season 5 of Hell's kitchen. Now we're watching a movie that'd popped up on my feed, but one I hadn't thought about, as the movie my husband had been asking me about sometime last week. Yes, January fourth (now technocally 5th as the writing of this post) and I'm watching a christmas movie.
What can I say? George and I are unique.

I just spent 1/2 the day with mine that I
haven't been doing since I moved back
in the cabin a few mons ago.
