An owl decided to enter through a chimney of a home in Arlington Virginia on December 19 to take a break on top of a Christmas tree.
Even though what the owl did by taking a break resting on top of a Christmas tree, the owner of the home called officials with the Animal League Of Arlington Virginia to remove the owl from inside the home.
The owl who is a Barred Owl was removed from the inside of the home by the animal control officials safely and without incident to the outside of the home.

That was on the news here. I never heard of anything so amazing. I bet the owners were startled as heck.

I am sure that the owners of the home were scared seeing an owl inside their home.

It made an interesting addition to the top of the tree, and it was good that they could get a photo of the unusual occurrence too.
It was good the owl was relocated, and let's hope it doesn't make a reappearance next year at the same house for Christmas again.

I hope so as well that the owl does not go back that same house again.
